A inseguire ci saranno Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Promodriver Yamaha) e Andrea Mantovani (Scuderia D’Ettorre Ducati), mentre Niccolò Antonelli (AltoGo Yamaha) punta a rilanciarsi davanti al pubblico italiano.
MOTO4 E SPORTBIKE: I GIOVANI TALENTI IN PISTA
THE EIGHTH EDITION OF THE GRANFONDO DEL MUGELLO IS APPROACHING FOR ALL CYCLING ENTHUSIASTS
On Sunday, June 21, 2026, the Mugello Circuit will once again host the start of the Granfondo del Mugello, now in its eighth edition. This well-established event in the cycling tourism calendar has, over the past four years, become the Tuscan event with the highest number of participants, averaging more than 1,000 riders each year from across Italy and abroad.
The event will begin with a unique and evocative moment: a full lap of the Autodrome, after which cyclists will set off on one of five routes—three road courses and two gravel options—winding through the hills and mountains of the Mugello area.
Road cycling enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to test themselves on two timed competitive segments, Galliano–Panna and Passo della Sambuca, both entirely closed to traffic to ensure maximum safety. Those opting for the gravel routes will instead enjoy a more relaxed experience, taking in the stunning landscapes along the region’s characteristic white roads.
All routes will finish in the beautiful setting of Piazza dei Vicari in Scarperia, where participants will find refreshment points along the courses featuring local products, and at the end, the traditional pasta party with the famous Mugello tortelli.
The event is open to all FCI and EPS members with a valid 2026 license, as well as non-registered participants, who may join by purchasing a daily insurance pass. All types of bicycles are permitted, including e-bikes, which, however, will not be included in the individual competitive rankings.
Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each category for both the medium and long routes, as well as the overall male and female winners of the long route. At team level, the top fifteen teams in the cycling tourism ranking will be awarded, along with the top team based on the combined times of its three best riders on the long route.
Registration fees vary depending on the registration period, with the option to participate with or without the official Alè Cycling event jersey.

ENGINES AND SUSTAINABILITY: FERRARI DRIVERS VISIT THE BEES CORNER
During the second round of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Europe 2026, Ferrari drivers experienced an initiative that combines a passion for motorsport with a concrete and structured vision of environmental sustainability.
Accompanied by Paolo Poli, CEO and Managing Director of Mugello Circuit, drivers Sergio Paulet (Ineco – Reparto Corse RAM), Giacomo Rinaldo (Rossocorsa) and Max Mugelli (CDP - Eureka Competition), together with Andrea Mladosic, Head of Endurance and Corso Pilota, visited the beehives located within the San Donato corner, one of the most iconic sections of the track.
The project, launched in 2024, marked an international milestone, making Mugello the first circuit to host beehives dedicated to pollinating bees. Today, it includes 7 hives and approximately 420,000 bees, confirming a growth path that strengthens the circuit’s commitment to biodiversity protection. An initiative with strong symbolic value, but also a strategic one, considering the essential role bees play in pollination processes and in maintaining natural balance.
A particularly significant aspect that emerged during the visit concerns the bees’ ability to coexist with the circuit environment: despite their proximity to the track, they are not disturbed by the noise of the engines, as their perception is mainly linked to vibrations.
Set within a natural context of great value, with over 900,000 square metres of green areas and 300,000 square metres of woodland, the beehive project is part of the broader environmental strategy of Mugello Circuit, internationally recognised for its sustainability standards.
A tangible example of how innovation, local heritage and sustainability can coexist, helping to shape a responsible model of development within the world of motorsport.
FERRARI CHALLENGE EUROPE: SECOND ROUND OF THE 2026 SEASON AT MUGELLO
This weekend, the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Europe returns to the Mugello Circuit for the second round of the 2026 calendar. It promises to be a particularly action-packed weekend for Ferrari’s one-make series.
The season opener in France immediately highlighted a very high level of competition, with closely contested races across all classes. Taking center stage on track is the Ferrari 296 Challenge, the ninth car in the championship’s history, unveiled right at Mugello during the 2023 Finali Mondiali.
In the Trofeo Pirelli Am class, the spotlight is on Sergio Paulet, who claimed a double victory at Paul Ricard and is aiming to extend his lead in the overall standings. The Spanish driver will also benefit from the absence of Gilles Renmans, while one of his main rivals will be home driver Max Mugelli, coming off two third-place finishes in France. Also worth watching is the debut of Hendrik Viol. In the Am class, Michael Verhagen remains the benchmark, having already won both opening races.
A high level of competitiveness is also expected in the Coppa Shell, where a close battle is anticipated between the first-round winners, Jan Sandmann and Eric Cheung, with the latter set to celebrate his 200th Ferrari Challenge race right at Mugello. The Tuscan weekend will also mark the season debut of several drivers, including Robin Maes, Luis Perusquia and Stefano Inama. A total of 26 cars will take part across Coppa Shell and Coppa Shell Am, with the latter once again confirming itself as the most crowded class.
The 2026 season represents a historic milestone for the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, celebrating its 34th edition. Since its debut in 1993, the championship has established itself as a benchmark in customer motorsport, supporting generations of drivers and providing a pathway to GT racing.
Mugello holds a special place in the history of the series and Ferrari’s Corse Clienti activities. The Tuscan circuit has hosted no fewer than 17 editions of the Finali Mondiali, including the first six and the most recent one in 2025. It was also here, in 2023, that two cars destined to shape the future of the customer racing programme were unveiled: the 296 Challenge and the Ferrari 499P Modificata, the latter making its on-track debut in March 2024.
With its 5.245 kilometres, the Mugello track is one of the most appreciated by drivers and teams for its technical and spectacular layout, featuring fast corners, demanding braking zones and significant elevation changes. It is the ideal proving ground to showcase both the performance of the cars and the talent of the drivers.
The weekend schedule will follow the established format: Friday, April 24 will be dedicated to testing and free practice, Saturday will feature qualifying sessions in the morning and Race 1 in the afternoon, while Sunday will repeat the same format for Race 2. All sessions will be broadcast live via Ferrari’s official YouTube channel, the website live.ferrari.com and on DAZN.
